These Terms of Service govern your use of the Deciphir website, Deciphir Lens platform, reports, emails, and related services.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Deciphir website, Deciphir Lens platform, reports, emails, and related services.

By using Deciphir, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Who May Use the Platform

Deciphir is intended for use by businesses, organisations, founders, leadership teams, and authorised representatives acting on behalf of an organisation.

You confirm that:

  • you are authorised to act on behalf of the relevant organisation
  • the information you provide is accurate
  • you will use the platform lawfully and responsibly

3. Nature of the Service

Deciphir Lens is a leadership diagnostic and reporting platform.

It is designed to provide structured insights into leadership alignment, values behaviour gaps, leadership priority convergence, and perception versus reality within leadership teams.

Deciphir does not provide legal, HR, financial, psychological, medical, or employment advice.

Reports, scores, and outputs are informational only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for organisational, employment, legal, or financial decisions.

You remain responsible for all decisions made based on the information provided by the platform.

4. User Responsibilities

  • provide accurate information
  • only use the platform for lawful business purposes
  • protect invite links and report access links
  • not impersonate another person or organisation
  • not upload harmful, defamatory, unlawful, or misleading content
  • not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the platform
  • not attempt to access another organisation's data
  • not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, or exploit the platform, scoring logic, reports, or underlying methodology

5. Participant Responses

Participants are invited by organisers and may provide information through diagnostic submissions.

Organisers may see participant names for invitation tracking and completion monitoring.

Reports are generally designed to present aggregated diagnostic results rather than direct response attribution.

6. Sensitive Information

You must not submit highly sensitive personal information through the platform, including:

  • health information
  • religion
  • ethnicity or racial background
  • political opinions
  • criminal history
  • union membership
  • sexual orientation
  • other highly sensitive personal information

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Deciphir platform, website, branding, scoring methods, logic, design, reports, materials, copy, graphics, content, and methodology remain the property of Deciphir.

You may use Deciphir outputs internally within your organisation for legitimate business purposes.

You may not reproduce, resell, licence, distribute, publish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the platform or its outputs without written permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by the Deciphir Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

Deciphir may use third-party providers to support hosting, storage, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, and security.

10. Availability and Changes

Deciphir may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, availability, or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deciphir is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of revenue, profit, goodwill, opportunity, business interruption, employment decisions, leadership decisions, legal disputes, organisational changes, reliance on report content, data loss, service outages, or security incidents.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform will not exceed the amount paid by you to Deciphir for the relevant service in the previous 12 months.

If no amount has been paid, our total liability is limited to AUD $100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Deciphir, its owners, contractors, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from misuse of the platform, breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or inappropriate submissions.

13. Future Paid Services

Some Deciphir services may become paid offerings in the future.

Unless otherwise stated, paid services, subscriptions, workshops, premium reports, or consulting engagements may be non-refundable except where required by law.

14. Termination

Deciphir may suspend or terminate access to the platform if these Terms are breached, the platform is misused, unlawful conduct occurs, or there is risk to Deciphir, its systems, or other users.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

16. Changes to These Terms

Deciphir may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
